What to Expect on Your D&D Long Weekend at Manorbier Castle
Embark on a one-of-a-kind role-playing adventure in the historic setting of Manorbier Castle, where you and your party will enjoy exclusive use of the castle for the entire weekend. Here’s what you can look forward to:
Your adventure begins on Thursday evening with an introductory session in the Castle House lounge. Here, you’ll be introduced to the theme of the D&D Adventure, your player characters, your fellow adventurers, and your hosts. This relaxed evening will set the tone for the epic quest ahead and give everyone the chance to bond. Guests can also enjoy some light board games and settle into the castle’s unique atmosphere.
You’ll stay in Castle House, a cozy and charming part of the castle grounds. Each day begins with a continental-style breakfast to fuel your adventures, followed by a light lunch, a hearty dinner, and snacks and soft drinks served during gaming sessions. Everything is designed to keep you comfortable and energized for the journey ahead.
Your weekend will include three immersive gaming sessions each day on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, led by an experienced Dungeon Master (DM) and supported by an Assistant DM. Sessions will take place in atmospheric locations within the castle, including the crypt, chapel, tower, and dungeon, ensuring an unforgettable experience.
When you’re not rolling dice or forging your legend, take time to explore the local area, with opportunities for scenic walks along Manorbier Beach or the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. For those who want to keep the gaming spirit alive, there will also be opportunities to play other board games in the castle house lounge.
For the duration of the weekend, the castle is yours. Enjoy exclusive access to the grounds, creating an immersive environment where you can fully embrace the spirit of adventure.
With dedicated staff on hand to guide your gaming sessions and ensure your experience is seamless, all you need to do is step into the story and let the adventure unfold.
Your journey begins here.
